Laphing was the main attraction to visit laphing station but didn’t meet up the expectation however we were amazed how authentic momos we were served that we end up ordering extra plate of momos even though we were full . Just recommend to maintain the authenticity of laphing as well.

Went to Capital Laphing Station after seeing a Bhutanese post about their Aloo Nimki — and I’m so glad I did! The Aloo Nimki was super crunchy and full of bold, spicy flavour — exactly what I was craving. I also tried their dry laphing, chicken momo, and chicken sausage, and everything was absolutely delicious. The laphing was smooth and perfectly seasoned, the momos were juicy and flavourful, and the sausage had that perfect street food vibe. If you’re into bold, spicy snacks, this place is a must-try! This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I’m craving bold, spicy snacks!

Ordered laphing, chowmein, and chicken momo. Unfortunately, none of the dishes were enjoyable. All three items had a very similar taste and smell, almost as if the same base sauce/achar was used for everything.

We tried this food stall on a week day. It wasn’t very busy and service was really quick. I loved the momo and keema noodles. It was different and tasty. We also tried laphing, a very good attempt on laphing. One of the best so far however the authentic tangy garlicky chilly flavour was missing (IYKY). Overall it was a good experience, Didi served us with such a nice hospitality. Will definitely be back to try other food items.

During our family visit to Canberra, we had heard numerous positive comments about the capital laphing on various social media platforms. Consequently, we decided to sample the cuisine. We found the laphing to be exceptionally delicious, and we also ordered jhol momo, both of which were incredibly flavorful.

Review for Capital Laping (Canberra)
We visited Capital Laping last time in February and had a good experience, so we decided to go again today while on our way to the Snowy Mountains. Unfortunately, this time the food was disappointing.
We ordered tea, momo, chowmein, and sausage, but all of them were served with the same sauce—which didn’t taste good at all and spoiled the flavour of everything. The only things we enjoyed were the aloo namkeen and pani puri, which were tasty.
Overall, quite a letdown compared to our previous visit. We hope the quality improves again like before.

I used to really enjoy Capital Laphing — their food was awesome, especially when I first tried it in Canberra, which is why I started visiting more often. However, my visit yesterday after about a month was very disappointing.
I drove 25 minutes expecting the same quality, but the food went from hero to zero. The jhol momo jhol had no salt at all, and the chicken chowmein had unusually large chicken chunks, whereas they used to be regular-sized and well balanced before.
This place had great potential and set a high standard earlier, but there’s definitely room for improvement now. I hope they can bring back the consistency and quality they were known for.

Very disappointing. Visited after a long time because they used to have good laphing and keema noodles. Today i ordered laphing, keema noodles and momo, but all came with same achar. Laphing had momo achar inside, keema noodles had same achar on top, so it didn’t taste like keema noodles. I hope they improve this because food used to be much better, especially laphing.
